Fifth Las Vegas Paiute Education Golf Classic on tap for May 25

The Fifth Annual Las Vegas Paiute Education Golf Classic, formerly known as the Snow Mountain Indian Scholarship Golf Classic, is a one-day golf fundraiser where all proceeds will benefit The Las Vegas Paiute Tribe’s educational programs, which range from providing new backpacks and school supplies to grade school, middle school, and high schools students to scholarships to colleges, universities, and vocational schools.

This year’s goal is to raise $20,000. Following the 6:30am registration, players will enjoy an 8:00am shotgun on The Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort’s Snow Mountain course. A barbeque luncheon will follow in the resort’s clubhouse.

Players will also have a chance to “Beat the Pro” for a $20 entry fee. If the player wins, then he or she will receive a free golf shirt valued at over $50. If the player does not beat the Pro, then he or she will enjoy a $20 savings in the Pro Shop for any purchase over $30. Half of all earnings from the “Beat the Pro” event will go towards The Las Vegas Paiute Tribe Education Fund in honor of this Golf Classic.
