Club Car approves use of Coolwell G2 Climate Control System

Coolwell announces that Club Car, Inc. has approved the use of the Coolwell G2 Climate Control System on their golf cars. Using nothing but ice, physics and less than an amp of battery power, the G2 is a true air conditioner that produces completely dry air at up to 45 degrees below ambient temperature. G2 units can be purchased by golf facilities and golf cart owners.

“We are sincerely honored to have an industry-leading golf car manufacturer officially authorize the use of the G2 on their golf cars,” said Rich Carter, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Coolwell. “Club Car’s recognition of our G2 system as a valuable accessory and guest amenity is an exciting accomplishment for us. At Coolwell, we understand the importance of offering golfers optional amenities, and the G2 certainly enhances the golf experience, particularly in hot weather.”

According to Club Car, the company is pleased to announce the authorization of the Coolwell G2 for use on its golf carts, recognizing that the G2 is an innovate product designed to provide an unsurpassed golf experience.

Mounted behind the seat, the G2 strips heat and moisture from the air and directs cool, dry air to the back of each golfer’s neck. This “Body Centric Effect” reduces the golfer’s overall body temperature and is felt long after the golfer leaves the golf car. The system is also pressure activated through the car’s seat, so the cooling system won’t run when the golf car is vacant.

The G2 is also equipped with a sanitary beverage storage compartment that uses the adjacent ice’s cooling power to keep drinks cold. In addition, the G2’s optional Aromachology feature releases botanical scents to enhance relaxation and performance.

The G2 operates using just a small fraction of the power available in the golf car and requires approximately 13 pounds of ice for an 18-hole round when played in severe heat. Made with only one moving part, the system’s high-grade, UV-resistant materials are designed to stand up to rigorous use. In cold weather, the G2 converts to a heater, producing brief blasts of heat at up to 110 degrees above ambient temperature.

“The G2 is designed not only to offer an amazing golf experience, but to do so consistently, simply and affordably,” said Carter. “We know golfers will continue to seek it out when the weather turns uncomfortable.”
