Caddy for a Cure announces launch of 07 season at Hilton Head

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Once again, Caddy For A Cure, Inc. is launching its golfer’s fantasy program for the 2007 season at the Verizon Heritage at Hilton Head. This year’s caddie opportunity will be available for three popular PGA Tour players, Stewart Cink, Zach Johnson and Tom Pernice, Jr.

”We are excited to be kicking off our 2007 season at this year’s Verizon Heritage with players like Cink, Johnson and Pernice, Jr.,” says Russ Holden, Caddy For A Cure CEO and veteran PGA Tour caddie. “The Harbour Town Golf Links is a spectacular location for a PGA Tour event and it has been a great tournament for CFAC for past years. We have every reason to expect it to be equally successful and rewarding for participants this year” he comments.

”The player line-up for the entire 2007 season is extremely strong, including superstars who appeal to all golfers and golf enthusiasts” says Holden. “We’ve gotten participation commitments from the world’s most renowned and popular PGA Tour players, including Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Sergio Garcia, and Davis Love III. We have almost a 100% recommitment of Tour players who have previously participated and who want to do it again.”

The way the Caddy For A Cure program works is interested parties bid via an eBay online auction for the opportunity to caddie for a Tour player during an official practice round of a PGA Tour tournament. This opportunity enables the winners to be “inside the ropes” with the world’s best Tour players in a relatively relaxed, yet still very professional, PGA Tour setting. They get to see their player’s thought processes, practice routines and incredible shot-making skills “up close and personal” without the distraction of other amateur players or the stress over their own golf skills.

”As an added bonus to this year’s caddie opportunities,” Holden adds, “we are pleased to announce we have partnered with a spectacular golf resort and new home community, Bison Homes. Through this partnership with Bison Homes we include a wonderful golf and accommodation package for two for each auction winner at the Torreon Golf Course and Golf Villas in Show Low, Arizona. This package includes two nights and four rounds of golf for two at the beautiful Torreon resort which is just a 3-hour drive from Tucson or Phoenix.”
The auctions for the Verizon Heritage opened on Friday, March 23rd at 7:00pm EDT and will run for 7-days, closing on Friday, March 30th. The caddie date is Tuesday, April 10th. Bidders can find the auctions through the auction links on the CFAC website at www.caddyforacure.com or directly through ebay.com by searching for Caddy For A Cure.
