Lizzie Driver to exhibit new fashion line at 2014 PGA Fall Expo

SAN MARINO, Calif. -- Lizzie Driver - the women's golf-lifestyle fashion brand offering sophisticated clothing for the country club fairway and everyday - will showcase its Spring/Summer 2015 collection at Booth 913 during the 2014 PGA Fall Expo, August 19-20 in Las Vegas.

Drawing from the warmth and light of summer, the line is aptly named "Here Comes the Sun" and boasts a bright, bold color palette with fashionable designs. The resort collection promotes on-and-off course appeal that includes finely crafted tops, bottoms, dresses, sweaters and vests, most of which are made in downtown Los Angeles.

"Our inspiration for this collection is the effect that a sunny day has on our mood, our outlook and our fashion choices," says Lorrie Forgatch, Co-Founder of Lizzie Driver.

From the outset, Lizzie Driver worked with a master tailor to ensure each of their pieces is cut to flatter a woman's body. Countering the notion that golf clothes don't have to be beautiful, the garments distinctive draping - and the graceful movement it upholds - has become a signature of the brand's aesthetic. Included each season are several floral and graphic prints from the famed Liberty of London collection.

"We feel our green grass partners will appreciate the value this line offers, as it's a nod to the elation and optimism a woman feels when the clouds part and it's time to get on the course and play," says Karen Preston, Co-Founder of Lizzie Driver.

In an era of disposable fast-fashion and consistent price compression, Lizzie Driver has staked out a premium position by offering the very best fabrics, fit and style. Its collections are distributed through 225 better shops in more than 30 states and several international markets.

About Lizzie Driver
America's fastest-growing women's golf-lifestyle line, Lizzie Driver was founded in 2011 by close friends Karen Preston and Lorrie Forgatch. After successful careers in business and raising children, the two partnered to create beautiful golf apparel that aligned with their off-course wardrobes. Their vision was to develop a collection that functions equally well on the country club fairway as at meetings, social events or almost any other activity in a busy woman's life. They christened their brand Lizzie Driver by combining their shared middle name - Elizabeth - with that of the "golf club that goes the farthest."

Catering to women age 30 and up, Lizzie Driver filled a clear market need and has expanded quickly since its premiere at the 2012 PGA Merchandise Show. Working from a philosophy of providing the very best fabrics, fit and fashion, the business grew nearly 450% last year and is poised for a record 2014.
