AZINGER DESIGN GROUP LAUNCHES MANAGEMENT DIVISON
Steaming from over 14 years of success in course design, Azinger Design Group has formed the Azinger Golf Group, specializing in overall facility management.
SARASOTA, Florida (June 24, 2004) – Jed Azinger, CEO of Azinger Golf Group, announces the appointment of Keith Pope as President and COO of Azinger Golf Group. Pope brings more than 20 years of golf management experience to Azinger Golf Group. Most recently, he was the Director of Operations for Kitson & Partners Club Management overseeing the management of golf courses throughout the State of Florida. Prior to that, he spent 8 years with Troon Golf Management. Azinger Golf Group enters the management arena quickly by securing management agreements with both Sarasota Golf Club, (effective July 1, 2004) and Sunrise Golf Club, both located in Sarasota, Florida.
Azinger Golf Group has assembled a senior management staff with over 50 years, of combined experience in every area of golf management. Based on this experience Azinger Golf Group has formulated a business plan that will allow the group to pursue management agreements with every type of facility.
Based on the realization of the volatile nature of the golf industry, and the increasing number of foreclosures Keith Pope has formulated a strategy to assist with the workout of these distressed properties. Keith Pope has been involved first hand with the takeover and workout of 14 foreclosed properties within the past year. These properties have ranged from exclusive resorts to daily fee operations, all having a different need, requiring a different solution.
