Treasure Hills Golf Club in Harlingen, Texas placed up for sale

Fairway Advisors announces the listing of Treasure Hills Golf Club in Harlingen, Texas. The highly regarded Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed golf club is now officially on the market.

The Valley Baptist Medical Foundation acquired Treasure Hills in 2003. Alan Johnson, Valley Baptist Legacy Foundation's president comments, "In spite of the fact that our Foundation is the owner of this prestigious golf course, we are compelled to sell it since it does not blend with our business model which is providing funding to health care related organizations. Too, we lack the expertise to operate and maintain such a fine facility."

Jeff Davis, President of Fairway Advisors, maintains, "Treasure Hills is one of the Rio Grande Valley's best layouts. The Club was the former host of the Adams Tight Lies Tour, which is a testament to the quality of its design."

Treasure Hills is a daily-fee golf course which opened in 1991. "Treasure Hills is situated on 189 acres. There is another 70 acres of reserved land adjacent to the golf course suitable for residential development which can be included in a sale. This is a unique opportunity to acquire a well designed golf course for substantially less than replacement cost. We expect to complete the sale of the golf course and the reserve land in short order," says Davis.

The golf course will continue to operate throughout the sales process without interruption.
