Fourteen Golf set to introduce new Pocket Cavity PC-555 Irons

IRVINE, Calif. -- Fourteen Golf, a premium boutique golf equipment company known for their award winning wedges, irons and global golf presence on most tours, will introduce their new forgiving pocket cavity PC-555 Irons at the 2014 PGA Demo Day and 2014 PGA Merchandise Show.

The PC-555 Irons are designed to square up perfectly at address. This single factor improves the path where the club head meets the ball. This critical angle and approach to the ball determines where the ball will land. It also promotes swing acceleration which results in increased distances with accuracy.

The Fourteen Golf team of engineers developed "Square Impact Settings" on the PC-555 Irons by adjusting the CG distance, CG depth, CG height, and CG angle all to work in unison to provide a square impact. "The PC-555 Irons automatically square up at impact which lets the player swing aggressively yet accurately," stated Fourteen Golf COO Marcy Kamoda.

The pocket cavity PC-555 Irons also deliver optimal spin performance which contributes to their great length and distance. This is a direct benefit from the deep CG positioning. The wedges in this perfectly matched set of irons are slightly larger for forgiveness, ease of play and superb spin performance.

"Even with marginally bigger head sizes for the wedges, the club head design remains the same and provides a great match with the other irons in the set," added Kamoda.

The PC-555 Irons are manufactured with a soft steel ST-22 and are not forged but cast. To accomplish the feeling of a forged iron, Fourteen Golf used a super soft steel and added several steps in the manufacturing process. The company is proud of their performance as well as feel.

The PC-555 Iron set is offered in a #4 iron through a sand wedge. They are Nickel chrome plated with a satin finish and the back cavity portion features a mirror finish.
The high performance N.S. PRO 950GH HT steel shaft is available in both stiff and regular.

"We invite people who are attending either the Demo Day or the PGA Show to compare these cast irons to our forgings. I think they will be surprise how accurate, long, and great they feel," added Kamoda.

The pocket cavity PC-555 Irons will be available to hit at the PGA Demo Day held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Orange County National Golf Center in Orlando, FL. Fourteen Golf will be located on the driving range where their entire 2014 line of golf equipment will be available to demonstrate.

If attendees miss an opportunity to experience Fourteen Golf equipment during the demo day, they can visit the Fourteen Golf booth in the Equipment Testing Center at hitting bay #41 during the PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center. The company will be exhibiting from Wednesday, January 22nd to Friday, January 24th.
