Georgia's Forest Hills Golf Club offers Masters Week golf packages

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Forest Hills Golf Club, the classic Donald Ross design that opened in 1926, has announced details on its Masters Week golf packages and pricing, according to General Manager Dan Elliott.

Masters® Week play at Forest Hills runs from Monday, April 7th through Sunday, April 13th, and includes:

- Monday and Tuesday: $125 plus tax, includes greens fee, cart, range balls and lunch.
- Wednesday - Saturday: $140 plus tax, includes greens fee, cart, range balls and lunch
- Every Day Play after 3:00pm: $80 plus tax, as much as you can play
- Replay Special: $50 plus tax after playing first round at full price

Forest Hills has been welcoming Masters® Week play ever since the first tournament was held in 1934 (originally called the Augusta National Invitational).

Says Elliott, "Forest Hills is proud to mark an 80-year legacy of hosting golfers participating in Masters® week activities. Our close proximity to Augusta National allows a golfer to play 18 holes and still have hours to watch the world's finest players on golf's grandest stage."

Forest Hills Golf Club has a formidable pedigree, having been the site of Bobby Jones's first tournament victory (the Southeastern Open) during his famous Grand Slam year of 1930. The course is consistently voted "Best Public Golf Course" by readers of Augusta Magazine, and has been played by other greats including Phil Mickelson and Davis Love III. Additionally, it is the home course to Georgia Regents University's Men's and Women's Jaguar golf teams, with the Men's team being back to back 2010 and 2011 NCAA Div I Men's National Champions.

To reserve a Masters® Week tee time at Forest Hills, call the golf shop at 706-733-0001. There will be a $50 cancellation fee for refunds requested up until February 14, 2014. Refunds will not be issued after February 14, 2014. www.TheForestHillsGolfCourse.com.
