The Manor Golf & Country Club ranks no. 7 among "Best Atlanta Courses"

ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- The Manor Golf & Country Club has been ranked #7 among the "Top 10 Courses in Atlanta," on GolfNow, a rating that relies on more than 5,000 reviews from everyday golfers.

Founded in 2001, GolfNow is the Internet's largest and most comprehensive online tee-time reservation service. GolfNow's users have the opportunity to rate golf courses they have played through the tee-time service on a 5-Star grading system. The Manor earned an average of 4.43 Stars, with nearly 2/3 of the reviewers giving the course a perfect ranking.

Review criteria includes 18-hole pace of play, course difficulty, course conditions, staff friendliness and value for the money. A minimum of 30 ratings is needed for a course to be eligible for the ranking.

"It's certainly an honor for The Manor to be regarded among the best in Atlanta by the actual golfers who play the course. We thank them all for their patronage and lofty regard they hold for the course," says The Manor General Manager Gautam Patankar.

Managed by Atlanta-based Mosaic Clubs & Resorts, the 18-hole championship course is the only design in Georgia from Tom Watson, eight-time major championship winner. The course is the centerpiece of The Manor Golf & Country Club, an upscale, gated community located in the north Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta.

Amenities at The Manor are diverse, plentiful and include 16 indoor and outdoor tennis courts, family and fine dining areas, indoor and outdoor pools, and a fully equipped sports center. Additionally, the timeless European charm of The Manor's elegant clubhouse make it one of the most popular wedding and reception destinations in Atlanta.
