TOCCOA, LAKE HARTWELL, Ga. -- Currahee Club has named 28-year industry professional Keith Izydore as director of operations for the 1,200-acre mountain community overlooking Lake Hartwell.
Izydore is an accomplished professional with proven experience in leadership, management, sales and marketing, event management, team development, food and beverage operations, procurement, major account management, real estate sales and development.
Most recently, Izydore was general manager of Pursell Farms and FarmLinks in Sylacauga, Ala. Previous roles as general manager include Gorham's Bluff in northeast Alabama as well as the award-winning Barnsley Resort and Golf Club in northwest Georgia, and Blackberry Farm in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
He got his start in the hospitality industry serving a variety of leadership roles in food and beverage departments as well as sales and marketing for the Ritz-Carlton Hotels of Atlanta. During his tenure, all of these properties achieved national recognition for customer service, culinary and golf course operations.

At Currahee, Izydore will oversee all club operations, culinary programs, staffing, club membership and golf programs.
Izydore is active in the community, volunteering for myriad civic organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement and Bartow County Children Shelters. He is a graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
