Hawaii's St. Regis Princeville Resort honored by LINKS Magazine

The St. Regis Princeville Resort on Kauai's north shore, in conjunction with Princeville's famed 45 holes of golf, has been honored as one of the "Top 25 Golf Resorts of the World" by LINKS Magazine. The prestigious list will appear in the Fall 2013 issue of LINKS as part of the magazine's special 25th Anniversary Edition.

In describing the resorts on this exclusive list, author Brian McCallen wrote, "It takes a serendipitous location coupled with peerless golf, a splendid hotel, excellent dining, and impeccable service to qualify." The St. Regis Princeville Resort was described as an extraordinary resort "terraced down the face of the bluff overlooking Hanalei Bay." Golf in the surrounding Princeville Resort area is made up of the 27-hole Makai Golf Club and the 18-hole Prince Course at Princeville Golf Club, described by LINKS as "Robert Trent Jones Jr.'s prodigious creation set on rolling tableland above the Pacific." The Prince, which reopened last year after an extensive 13-month renovation, is known for its magnificent layout following the natural contours of the land, encompassing 350 acres of rolling terrain, tropical jungle, gullies, streams, and waterfalls.

The Prince Course at Princeville Golf Club is ranked as the number one course in Hawaii by GOLF Magazine for 2012/13 and #22 in the U.S. on Golf Digest's list of "America's 100 Greatest Public Courses" for 2013/2014. The Makai Course is also ranked by Golf Digest as one of "America's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses" and by GOLF Magazine and Golfweek as one of the top 5 public golf courses in Hawaii.
