Sun Cup Golf Center in Fort Myers, Florida adds junior, adult clinics

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Junior golfers across Southwest Florida now have a place to learn the game and grow their enthusiasm for golf - The Sun Cup Golf Center.

Starting this weekend, Sun Cup Golf Center - formerly Daniels Driving Range at Six Mile Cypress and Daniels Boulevard - is offering junior golf lessons on Saturday mornings.

Juniors can now learn from touring professional and 2008 Canadian Tour champion Tommy Stankowski every Saturday morning at 9 a.m. for just $15 per clinic.

"We are all about growing the game at Sun Cup Golf Center, and can think of no better way to do so than to offer junior clinics," SCGC owner Jason Fry said. "Tommy Stankowski is incredible with kids, and his teachings will have juniors loving golf for a lifetime."

Fry and SCGC also announced that adult clinics are now available four times each week - 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays. SCGC Director of Instruction Chris Trout - the two-time defending South Florida PGA Player of the Year - will lead the adult clinics.

"Like Tommy Stankowski with the kids, Chris Trout is an outstanding teacher who excels in the group setting," Fry said. "Adults from all skill levels - beginner to scratch golfer - will benefit from Trout's adult clinics."

All lessons and clinics at Sun Cup Golf Center include a medium bucket of balls. For more information on lessons and clinics, call 239-561-2627.
