Golf Tournament Association of Canada announces its creation

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- The Golf Tournament Association of Canada (GTAC) is pleased to announce it’s creation and affiliation with one of golf’s most esteemed and well known tournament planning organizations, the Golf Tournament Association of America (GTAA).

Headed by Vancouver entrepreneur and golf fanatic Geoffrey Gachallan, the Golf Tournament Association of Canada is an organization serving the needs of tournament planners and promoters across the country. Dedicated to growing the game of golf in Canada through networking, education and new product evaluations, the formation of the GTAA is evidence that the game of golf is no longer merely a simple pass time for Canadians.

The GTAC’s affiliation with it’s sister organization south of the border ensures that members of both organizations have the opportunity and ability to use these networks to their full potential. General membership to the GTAC is free and includes resources to aid golf planners through websites, seminars, newsletters, planning guides, resource directories, discounts, networking and many other useful tools for amateur golf tournament planners.

To help celebrate the announcement of the GTAC’s formation, GTAA head and acclaimed golf expert, Phil Immordino, will be in Vancouver March 6th as a guest speaker at the Sea to Sky Golf Company’s “Golf With Purpose” seminar series being held at University Club. Phil will be hosting two seminars entitled “Golf and Your Business” and “How to Produce a Successful Golf Tournament” as well as participating in the VIP golf networking mixer being held that evening at Sea to Sky’s Golf Dream Suite at 33 Water. Phil Immordino will be available for interviews and media appearances throughout the day.
