ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The First Tee of Orange County, CA., a non-profit organization formed to impact the young people of Orange County, proudly announced that the Orange County and golf community has reached out to support the upcoming inaugural Pro-Am Golf Tournament sponsored by Roger Dunn Golf Shops.
According to The First Tee of Orange County Vice President Al Morris, "This chapter is SO new and we were REALLY ambitious putting on a Pro-Am so quickly but the outpouring of support has been extraordinary. It is obvious that the community understands how important this program is to Orange County. I want to thank each and every sponsor helping us with this event."
The First Tee of Orange County Inaugural Pro-Am still has available playing spots. The event is being held on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Tustin Ranch Golf Course. PGA Professionals and their foursome of amateurs will play in a Shamble format with a shotgun start of 12:00pm.
"I encourage golfers who like to have fun and support a good cause to join us. There are luxury cars to win on particular holes, a putting contest for $10,000 and more. Ask your Pro to join you," added Morris.
The individual entrance fee is $275.00 which includes golf, gift bag, lunch, and fully catered dinner. After tournament play, golfers will enjoy a cocktail reception, silent auction, and more.
