Tennessee's new Sevierville Golf Club announces golf getaways

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. -- The all-new Sevierville Golf Club has teamed up with Smoky Mountain area hotels to offer fall golf getaways starting at $95 per person for August, September and October.

Located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, the Sevierville Golf Club (opened summer 2011) features two 18-hole championship courses: The Highlands, a par 70 that winds through lush rolling hills and fresh water mountain ponds and The River, a par 72 that plays along and across the Little Pigeon River. Additional amenities include an extensive driving range with grass tees, nine target greens, an expansive putting green and chipping area.

"Fall is a great time of year to golf the Smoky Mountains," says Sevierville Golf Club marketing manager John Coleman. "Our courses are among the best in the area, and we wanted to offer an affordable package rate at a time when golfers would really enjoy the great fall weather, beautiful scenery and spectacular courses available in Sevierville."

Sevierville's Fall Golf Getaways let traveling golfers choose from one of three luxurious hotels, including Hampton Inn & Suites and Comfort Suites properties, and an option to play one or both courses at the Sevierville Golf Club. Packages start at $95 per person, per day, based on double occupancy and include accommodations, breakfast and 18 holes with cart.

While in Sevierville, golfers - and their families - can choose to enjoy high end outlet shopping at Tanger Five Oaks Factory Outlet Center, outdoor adventure activities like zip lining and hiking or have fun at theme parks likes Dollywood.
