Caddy For A Cure announces return to 2013 LPGA Safeway Classic

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Caddy For A Cure, Inc., the professional golf opportunity to caddy for a day with the world's best players, is returning to the 2013 LPGA Safeway Classic presented by Coca-Cola. The Safeway Classic will be held at the Columbia Edgewater Country Club in Portland, OR from August 26th thru September 1st. LPGA Superstar players Lexi Thompson, Morgan Pressel, Syndee Michaels and Paige Mackenzie will be participating with Caddy For A Cure during the Wednesday Pro Am round.

Caddy For A Cure has been offering golf fans opportunities to bid on PGA TOUR caddy experiences since 2003 and launched its program with the LPGA in 2010. Proceeds raised from the experiences benefit multiple causes including combat wounded warriors, Fanconi anemia and charities in the local communities of the Tour events.

As part of its commitment of giving back to improve the lives of others, Portland based Emerick Construction has partnered with Caddy For A Cure again for this year's Safeway Classic. On Tuesday, August 27th, Emerick is hosting a networking-fundraiser party that will be held in the Rose Garden at the Oregon Golf Club in West Linn. The event will be from 5:00pm - 8:00pm and is open to everyone.

In addition to the Tuesday party, Emerick Construction has purchased the four Caddy For A Cure caddy experiences for the Wednesday Pro am of the Safeway Classic. While committed to its charitable endeavors, Emerick Construction is also ranked among the Portland, OR area's top general contractors and has earned a reputation as the contractor of choice for challenging, team-driven projects.

Caddy For A Cure offers PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and LPGA Tour caddy opportunities through its 100% of auction proceeds are donated to charity. Funds are directed to the PGA TOUR Birdies for the Brave military outreach, the PGA TOUR Professional Caddy Assistance Foundation, the LPGA Foundation USGA-Girls Golf program, in support of Fanconi anemia and each participating player's and host site's charity.
