Sequoia Golf acquires three private golf properties in Georgia

NEWNAN, Ga. -- Joe Guerra, president and CEO of Sequoia Golf, announced the acquisition of three premium private golf and country clubs in the North Atlanta metro area: Atlanta National Golf Club, Polo Golf & Country Club and White Columns Country Club. Further positioning its leadership in the premium private club space, Sequoia has also entered into a long-term 20-year lease with Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, Calif. Sequoia's addition of these four newly acquired clubs establishes a premium private club focus for the company in the Atlanta area, as well as expands its presence in Southern California.

"We look forward to enhancing the member experience at Atlanta National Golf Club, Polo Golf & Country Club, White Columns Country Club, and Old Ranch Country Club," said Guerra. "Through an initial$4.5 million investment in capital resources, we plan to substantially improve the overall theme, feel and exclusivity of these great clubs with an intent focus on membership satisfaction and service."

Atlanta National Golf Club is set in the private, gated community of Atlanta National in Milton, Ga., just north of Atlanta, Ga. The Club features a dramatic clubhouse and challenging first class 18-hole Pete Dye golf course that spans across 240 acres of natural terrain.

White Columns Country Club features an 18-hole golf course designed by award-winning architect Tom Fazio, a full service clubhouse, tennis center, and aquatic center, and a state-of-the-art golf learning and fitting center. White Columns is located in Alpharetta, Ga.

Old Ranch Country Club, located in Seal Beach, Calif., is comprised of an 18-hole championship Ted Robinson golf course, an expansive food and beverage banquet facility, pool, private and public driving range, and pool facility.
