ORLANDO, Fla. -- David Feherty visits 2011 PGA Champion, 2012 Ryder Cup standout and three-time PGA TOUR winner Keegan Bradley at his Florida home for an in-depth discussion that covers the gamut of his young life and career on the next episode of FEHERTY, Monday at 10 p.m. ET.
From humble beginnings to his breakout arrival on tour in 2011, Bradley talks about his introduction to golf and how his aunt -- LPGA great and World Golf Hall-of-Fame member Pat Bradley -- influenced his love for the game.
The two men also discuss Bradley’s young days of competitive skiing in Vermont; his time living in a camper with his father to make ends meet; a competitive drive that earned him a PGA TOUR victory and the PGA Championship title during his rookie season in 2011; the excitement and heartbreak of the 2012 Ryder Cup (his Ryder Cup suitcase remains unpacked on his bedroom floor because he can’t bear to face it); and the anchored putter issue and how he plans to address the rule in the future.
Feherty also gets an introduction to Bradley’s love of Boston sports, including his beloved Red Sox. Bradley says of all the things that have made him the most nervous in his life, he reveals that throwing out the first pitch at Fenway Park was second only to playing in the Ryder Cup.
