SuperStroke Slim 3.0 helps capture win at 2013 Open Championship

Starting the final round 5-shots off the lead, the former Arizona State Sun Devil birdied four of the last six holes with his SuperStroke Slim 3.0 to win the 2013 Open Championship. This is the lefty's 5th Major Championship victory, 42nd PGA Tour title (9th all-time), and moves him to 2nd in both the FedEx Cup standings and Official World Golf Rankings.

"This is such an accomplishment for me because I just never knew if I'd be able to develop the game to play links golf effectively," the 5-time Major Champion said. "To play the best round arguably of my career, to putt better than I've ever putted, to shoot the round of my life ... it feels amazing to win the Claret Jug."

At age 43 years and 35 days, the 2012 Hall of Fame inductee is the oldest Major Champion since 1995 Masters and oldest to ever win consecutive European Tour events.

This Major Championship victory marks SuperStroke Golf's 3rd win in 2 weeks, 12th for the year. Add another $2.2 to the yearly total and SuperStroke putter grips are the #1 grip technology on the PGA Tour.

Quick Stat: The 2013 Open Champion is the first player to win the week before a Major Championship then win the Major a week later, on two occasions (won the 2006 Bell South Classic before his Masters Tournament win).
