Fourteen Golf wedges help capture Manulife Financial LPGA Classic

IRVINE, Calif. -- Fourteen Golf, a global leader in the development of golf equipment design, announced that a long time Fourteen Golf supporter and LPGA Professional used three RM-Series Wedges to win the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic.

According to Fourteen Golf COO Marcy Kamoda, "This playoff victory at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic takes the Fourteen Golf win total to 12. We are happy for this LPGA Professional and thank her for her ongoing support of our equipment and company."

The Manulife Financial LPGA Classic Champion played a 48-degree, 54-degree, and 58-degree RM-Series Wedges. She has been relying on her RM-Series Wedges for the past several seasons. They provide her precision short shots with optimal spin which were critical to her recent win.

"In addition to this notable win, two LPGA Professionals captured a Top-10 finish at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic playing Fourteen Golf wedges, added Kamoda.

Fourteen Golf knows the importance of the short game. The company has garnered a reputation throughout the world as being the preeminent wedge designer and the Golf Digest "Hot List" ranked RM-12 Wedge verifies it. This tour inspired, high performance wedge features the same large trapezoidal grooves as its predecessor, the RM 11-Wedge. These expanded grooves impart exceptional spin and rotational speed as the RM acronym implies - "Revolution per Minute."

These uniquely shaped trapezoidal grooves have been enlarged by 15% as compared to other Fourteen Golf wedges.

This increase in overall groove volume enhances spin retention particularly on partial shots. In addition, these high quality grooves perform well in both dry and wet conditions.

"Fourteen Golf's own Chad Collins played RM-Series Wedges to tie for third place at the Utah Championship. What a great weekend the company! The outpouring of support has been fantastic," added Kamoda.

Touring Professionals appreciate the company's original "reverse taper design" so the engineers used it as a platform but increased the weight distribution on the upper blade to create a "reverse muscle design." In effect, the weight is perfectly proportioned on the blade and club head which creates stability through impact. Now golfers have better control from any lie. No more missing greens.

"The Fourteen Golf RM-12 Wedges allow me to have the confidence to execute any shot from any lie. Along with conforming grooves that produce more than enough spin at just the right times. I rely on my Fourteen Golf wedges during every condition out on tour," said Chad Collins.

The RM-12 Wedge not only is a high performance, tour inspired wedge but it is aesthetically stunning. The combination of its curves, classic styling and nickel chrome non-plated half matte finish make it one of the most beautiful wedges on the market. This special finish also prevents glare or distractions from the sun.

In addition to the vast amount of professional golfers playing Fourteen Golf equipment, the company has a professional Fourteen Golf staff team which includes PGA Professionals John Mallinger, Arjun Atwal, Ryuji Imada and Chad Collins.
