Rife putter helps earn T-2nd place finish at Greenbrier Classic

SANFORD, Fla. -- RIFE continued its success on the PGA TOUR this past weekend with a T-2nd Place Finish at The Greenbrier Classic, held at The Old White TPC course in White Sulphur Springs, WV.

The Australian born 2nd Place Finisher was near the top of the leaderboard all weekend and at times it appeared was going to pick up his 1st ever PGA Tour Victory. Unfortunately, rain delays plagued the tournament all weekend and kept him from finding his groove on Sunday afternoon and he finished in 2nd Place just two strokes off the lead.

"Steven came over to me on the practice green at the FedEx St. Jude Classic about a month ago," said Kyle Ulrikson, PGA TOUR Rep for RIFE Golf. "He said he wasn't pleased with the way he was putting and wanted to roll some of our putters see if it would help. He settled on our Antigua putter and put it into play that week. He said he loved the way the ball came off the face of our putters. Based on his finish this past weekend I'd say it's working very well for him right now."

This 2nd Place Finish earned him a paycheck for $415,800.00 and catapulted him up 51 spots on the Official FedEx Cup Points List. He is just one of the many non-endorsed Professional Tour Players who choose to play a RIFE putter even though they're not paid to play it. "The Tour Players play our putter because it helps them earn a bigger paycheck on Sunday," said Jim Barfield, V.P. of Tour Operations for RIFE Golf, "and we're very proud of that. Our RollGroove Technology grips and lifts the ball into an instant forward roll and gets it on line and headed towards the cup quicker than any other putter in the industry. If it's good enough for the best golfers in the world, you can bet its going to help you sink more putts as well."

About RIFE Golf
RIFE Golf is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. RIFE states, "just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face." Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest "no skid" roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
