PHOENIX -- The BIG Tournament, the world's biggest invitational amateur charity golf tournament, announced that Celebration Golf Club in Celebration, Florida has been selected as a host for a Round Two Regional event on September 7, 2013. This year marks the first time that The BIG Tournament will be hosted in Osceola County.
"We look forward to working with the BIG Tournament and Team Osceola to ensure the success of this prestigious event in our community, as we serve our mission to drive economic development through sports," said John Bisignano, president of the Central Florida Sports Commission.
Celebration Golf Club will host up to 144 golfers in a 2-person scramble format with a tee-time of 8:30 a.m. Cost to enter is $150 per player. With the support of Experience Kissimmee, golfers will experience a round of competitive golf, discounted practice rounds, lunch at the course and promotional rates on accommodations.

"The alliance between Celebration Golf Club, the Central Florida Sports Commission & Experience Kissimmee was instrumental in the coordination of this regional event."
The winning team from this regional event wins $1,000 for their charity and free entry and hotel stay for the National Championship in November 2013, which will be hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada. The grand prize is $10,000. The second and third place teams will win $5,000 and $2,500 for their respective charities.
