Fresh off a big win at the Memorial last week, SuperStroke grips followed it up by having 5 grips finish in the top-10 in Nashville, Two players, one using a Ultra Slim 1.0 and another using a Slim 3.0, led the charge by finishing tied for second place.
Arguably the hottest golfer on Tour, a Tennessee Tech grad earned one of SuperStroke's T2 finishes. Using an Ultra Slim 1.0 in black/white, the 2-time PGA Tour winner ended the week 4th in putts per GIR and 6th in strokes-gained. Not only has the Knoxville resident finish in the top-5 in his last 3 events, he also was able to punch his ticket for Merion, home of this year's US Open Championship.
The other second-place finish was taken home by a 4-time major champion using his Slim 3.0 in black/white. The 41-time PGA Tour winner finished the week 9th in putts per GIR and said, "My short game got better as the week wore on," the Arizona State standout said. He has his sights set on the year's second major, hoping to take home his first US Open crown.
SuperStroke Golf earned Tour players another $2.1 million in winnings in Tennessee over the weekend. With all eyes on Merion Golf Club, SuperStroke Golf looks to claim this year's US Open.
SuperStroke grips now feature a new high-tech PU material with Cross Traction technology. The Cross Traction design will improve the feel and tackiness of the grip.
