Golf Pride leads grip usage at NCAA Division I National Championships

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. -- Golf Pride, a division of diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton, announced that 88% of competitors at the recently completed NCAA Division I Golf National Championships trusted their games to Golf Pride grips. Golf Pride was played by 109 of the 126 women and 139 of the 156 men at the Division I National Championships.

Golf Pride's New Decade MultiCompound, the fastest growing grip on the PGA TOUR, has also garnered a substantial following at the collegiate level. The New Decade MultiCompound was the grip of choice for 40% of women and 30% of men in the Division I Championship field. Golf Pride's New Decade MultiCompound grips feature a proprietary hybrid cord/rubber technology that offers increased stability and control without sacrificing feel.
