Fourteen Golf wedges and irons win two NGA Pro Golf Tour events

IRVINE, Calif -- Fourteen Golf, a global leader in the development of golf equipment design, announced today that their Golf Digest "Hot List" award winning RM-12 Wedges and forged cavity back TC-930FG Irons were played to seize two NGA Pro Golf Tour events - taking the 2013 Fourteen Golf Tour Win count to nine.

According to Fourteen Golf COO Marcy Kamoda, "We support and respect all tours and the professionals who play them. The NGA Pro Golf Tour is a development league which really helps golfing professionals gets their PGA and Web.com Tours. The professional who won these two events using our equipment is well on his way to getting his card."

To go low and win both NGA Pro Golf Tour events, this golf professional worked hard on his short game and used equipment which helped him. He played the RM-12 Wedges in both 54-degree and 60-degree lofts. Their workability combined with optimal spin was an asset in all rounds.

The RM-12 Wedge and its sole design allow Tour players to create different shots using the same wedge. The engineers rounded the toe and heel area on the H-Sole which is available on the 48-degree to 58-degree models and actually removed the back portion of the sole. These modifications allow golfers to open and close the face, promoting a variety of shots.

For the 60-degree RM-12 Wedge, the design team implemented a T-Sole, also known as a Twin Sole. A distinct ridge in the middle portion of the sole allows the club to get through any type of lie easily as the leading edge is able to slide under the club effortlessly. Additionally, when the club face is open, the back portion of the sole encourages the ball to pop up with the perfect amount of spin.

The uniquely shaped trapezoidal grooves featured on the RM-12 Wedges have been enlarged by 15% as compared to other Fourteen Golf wedges. This increase in overall groove volume enhances spin retention particularly on partial shots. In addition, these high quality grooves perform well in both dry and wet conditions.

The promising NGA Tour Champion also plays a full set of the Fourteen Golf TC-930FG Irons, #3 through Pitching Wedge. They suit his athletic swing perfectly as they help the heavy hitters with club head speeds of 43m/sec. with club head control. The TC-930FG Irons feature an extremely low CG which is perfectly aligned. This precise positioning combined with a longer club head length encourages club head control. The CG alignment varies based on the length of the club.

"Fourteen Golf Pro Staffer Chad Collins also played the TC-930FG Irons last weekend to finish in third place at the Mid-Atlantic Championship. He too took advantage of their control and distance," added Kamoda.

In addition to the vast amount of professional golfers playing Fourteen Golf equipment, the company has a professional Fourteen Golf staff team which includes PGA Professionals John Mallinger, Arjun Atwal, Ryuji Imada and Chad Collins.
