Ryan Dionne named new general manager of Forsgate Country Club in New Jersey

MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Forsgate Country Club, the award-winning private facility named New Jersey's "No. 1 Family Club" and a top "Private Club Value" (Golfstyles NJ), proudly announces that seasoned hospitality and golf industry executive Ryan Dionne has been named the club's new general manager. Founded in 1931, Forsgate boasts 36 holes of renowned golf and fully-amenitized practice facilities; an elegantly-appointed clubhouse with award-winning casual and fine dining venues, locker rooms and extensive banquet facilities; an aquatics center; and fitness studio.

At Forsgate, Dionne oversees all facets of the club's management including: administration and human resources, member and guest services, golf and hospitality departments, business development, budget planning, and community relations initiatives. Dionne also serves as the executive director for the Forsgate Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports worthwhile causes through the use of Forsgate Country Club.

Most recently, Dionne served as assistant general manager at the private, equity-owned Cherry Valley Country Club in Skillman, N.J. While at Cherry Valley, Dionne successfully assisted in leading the club to its most profitable year and was a 2012 Platinum Club Award recipient. His previous country club experience also included a five-year stint as director of operations for food, beverage, and lodging at the celebrated TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton, N.J. In this position, Dionne coordinated hospitality programs for the PGA Instanet Classic and The Players Championship, among other responsibilities.

A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Dionne was named one of the country's top "high flying" private chefs by Robb Report magazine in 2004.

Dionne then became an estate manager for a private employer, supervising an international staff of 80 across nine residential properties in six countries and managing the construction project for a 75-acre private Caribbean island. Dionne's hospitality experience extends internationally as he also served as the chief operating officer and managing partner for Segredo Hospitality, LLC in Brazil.
