The Internet Café, presented in partnership with DuPont Professional Products, will allow 2007 Golf Industry Show (Feb. 22-24 in Anaheim, Calif.) attendees to conveniently browse the Web and check e-mail free of charge (for more information on the Internet Café, visit http://www.golfindustryshow.com/2007/attend/cafe.asp).
Last year at the Golf Industry Show in Atlanta, more than 2,500 attendees took advantage of the free Internet Café, with many visiting several times a day. This year’s café will be located near the registration center at the Anaheim Convention Center and will be open Feb. 19-24. The café will feature more than a dozen terminals, as well as laptop stations, plus two satellite locations upstairs on the trade show floor.
“The Internet Café is one of the busiest places in the convention center," said Mark Bisbing, Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) director of corporate sales and marketing. "Thanks to DuPont Professional Products, the Internet Café gives attendees the opportunity to keep in touch with their families, facilities and friends while being away, no matter how far they traveled to get to Anaheim.”
While at the Internet Café, attendees can take the GCSAA Leadership Survey, a real-time, computerized survey that examines the opinions of superintendents on a number of timely issues, which will be available to take the week of the event (Feb. 19-24). GCSAA uses the results of the survey to publicize and promote golf course superintendents.
