Graphite Design shafts in heavy use at Bob Hope Crysler Classic

SAN DIEGO -- Graphite Design — maker of some of the most widely played graphite driver shaft models on the PGA TOUR — announces its shafts were played by three top-four finishers at the PGA TOUR’s Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, according to the Darrell Survey.

The runner-up sported Graphite Design’s YS Power 75 shaft in his driver and a Purple Ice model in his 3-wood. Meanwhile, a fourth-place performer used Graphite Design’s Pershing 75 model in his driver while another fourth-place finisher utilized the company’s YS-Hybrid in a hybrid club. The trio combined to post 12 rounds in the 60s during the 90-hole tournament, going 47-under par and earning $980,000 for the week.

A total of 67 Graphite Design shafts were in play at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, including the popular YS-6 and YS-7, Tour GAT and Tour AD.
