SAN FRANCISCO -- One of the first women's golf apparel lines to champion luxury performance, Iconic™ Sport celebrates its first anniversary at the PGA merchandise show, January 25-27, with stellar new additions for 2007. Predicated on high style and genuine performance enhancement, via top-of-the-line fabrications and innovative structural designs, Iconic™ Sport was launched at last year’s show with ensuing positive media coverage throughout this last year.
Now building on its existing color palette and proprietary original prints, Iconic announces the addition of an inspired new assortment of Berry, Smoke, and Cobalt to its carryover color arsenal of Black, White, Fog, and Bubblegum. In addition, many of the Iconic silhouettes are replicated in tonal, multi-color prints — capitalizing on a proven body style with yet another high-fashion alternative.
New colors, and superlative technical fabrics in both tops and bottoms are vanguards of the new additions, and every Iconic style has its own name as well as individual style-number. From Pasatiempo, to Valderrama, Dead Aim, Audrey, and Monaco, they are reflective not only of the game itself, but of the high-fashion inspirations and imagery of their heralded namesakes.
The 2007 collection will also include outerwear — a performance wool/poly fleece vest, and a water and wind resistant stretch pullover windshirt. These combine with a selection of Schoeller fall weight fabrics in a new long pant, and two different fabric weights of crop pants. Three new long sleeve technical shirt styles, as well as transitional year-round 3/4 sleeve tops cut in Iconic’s trademark slim-fit, tailored look, and ranging in sizes 2-16, are also featured among the new items.
And a new concept in golf: detachable arm warmers. Adapted from cycling, these golf-specific arm warmers are practical, comfortable, and tested on-course for superlative performance. For those long rounds that start in cold early mornings and warm up later in the day, the Spyglass arm warmers are an innovative alternative to having to wear a lot of bulky layers.
Designed to enhance golf performance with on and off-course sophisticated style, all Iconic™ Sport garments have been field-tested, offer easy care washability, and a rich, luxuriant hand. Iconic™ Sport will have four separate outfits, consisting of both tops and bottoms, in the morning and afternoon fashion shows to highlight some of the collection.
