Beginning March 2, 2007, Southern Skyways will introduce new airline service to Myrtle Beach from Allentown, PA (ABE), Charleston, WV (CRW) and Cincinnati, OH (CVG). Myrtle Beach Direct Rolls Out New Service from Newark, Pittsburgh and Niagara Falls
Myrtle Beach Direct will introduce new service from Newark, NJ (EWR), Pittsburgh, PA (PIT) and Niagara Falls, NY (BUF) to Myrtle Beach beginning March 8, 2007. Flights between Newark and Myrtle Beach will operate Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays, adding Saturday service during the summer months. Pittsburgh service will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, adding Saturday service during summer months. Niagara Falls flights are scheduled every Friday and Monday. To kick off the service, Myrtle Beach Direct will offer March Myrtle Madness specials with one-way airfares beginning at $99 and a golf special for $399 per person based on double occupancy. The golf special includes round-trip air fare, three nights at the Caravelle Beach Resort or the Legends Golf Resort, two rounds of golf and a rental car. Delta Airlines Offers More Seats to Atlanta-based Travelers
Delta Airlines will add seat capacity between Atlanta (ATL) and Myrtle Beach, upgrading an existing flight to the larger, two-class 142-seat MD-88 aircraft. With the expanded service, Delta will offer customers nearly 30 percent more seats on the Atlanta-Myrtle Beach flight between March and September.
