Golf fitness DVD series now available

PHOENIX, AZ. – Nov 24, 2004 – Mindi Boysen, a nationally known, highly respected expert in the fitness industry, works out with her golf clients every day. They range from Senior LPGA Pro, Kay Kennedy and Gateway Tour Pro, Jason Rudquist to amateur and recreational players -- all eager to be guided to a better game and healthier body. Located at Tatum Ranch GC, Boysen’s charge is to help her clients realize that “Golf is more than swinging a club!”

As a regular on Arizona’s only locally produced TV golf show, Golf Southwest, she can be seen demonstrating an exercise from her Fit For Golf Fit For Life series each week. The show is aired on KAZ-TV at 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

But if it’s impractical to have her as a personal coach or to catch her on TV on a Saturday afternoon, she has compiled a range of workouts on a DVD designed for golfers of all levels and abilities. For today’s health-conscious golfers who want to play their best game, it is necessary to learn the importance of conditioning the right muscle groups and promoting flexibility. That’s where the expertise of Mindi Boysen comes in.

The popularity of her first DVD triggered her decision to build on the philosophy of “a fit golfer is a better golfer.” And as Mindi says, “I know the competitive spirit in all golfers – they want to beat their previous score. But they don’t want to work out, they want to play golf. That’s why I came up with this easy-to-do, short routine that will help golfers improve their score and their health.”

Boysen just released a second set of her popular “Fit For Golf Fit For Life” DVD Series this month. Fit for Golf Fit for Life w/Heavy Ball and Fit for Golf Fit for Life w/Big Ball take beginners and skilled golfers alike to a higher level of golf fitness by working on the specific muscle groups used in the golf swing. Their purpose is to improve a golfer’s game and overall health. Her careful choice of exercises helps to prevent back and joint damage related to swinging a club. Both DVDs are selling for the low cost of only $19.95 each and are available at www.fitforgolfusa.com or by calling 480-203-6228.

All of the workout themes in the golf fitness DVDs focus on the fundamentals used in a golf swing – Flexibility – Strength – Stability and Posture. The first 80-minute DVD, which has been in demand from golfers all over the country and is still available for $29.95, requires no equipment. It explains the relationship between fitness and golf as well as demonstrating an entire pre-round stretch routine. Her most recent additions are 30-minute workouts split into two 15-minute segments. Both require balls as equipment, which are inexpensive and portable. But the real appeal of these videos is that they contain efficient and effective workouts requiring very little time or space. “And that’s what golfers want,” she adds with a smile, “the best results with the least amount of effort.”
