Stanford Financial, PGA Tour launch Eagles for St. Jude program

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Stanford Financial Group is joining with the GOLF CHANNEL and the PGA TOUR on a charitable investment program that provides a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® for every eagle made on the PGA TOUR in 2007. The Eagles for St. Jude program calls for Stanford to make a donation - in the name of the player - for every eagle made on the TOUR. The program will be promoted throughout the year with updates and weekly donation recaps by the GOLFCHANNEL, the exclusive media partner of Eagles for St. Jude.

Stanford is the new title sponsor of the Stanford St. Jude Championship, set for June 4-10 at TPC Southwind in Memphis. Eagles for St. Jude was developed to expand and highlight the alliance between Stanford and St. Jude and provide an ongoing charitable investment to help the premier pediatric cancer research center find cures and save children from around the world. Stanford, whose brand identity includes an eagle as part of its corporate logo, has named St. Jude as its global charity of choice.

According to R. Allen Stanford, Chairman and CEO of Stanford Financial Group, the program is another way to help the children of St. Jude.
