Demo Day demand exceeds space at the 2005 PGA Show

NORWALK, Conn. – Nov. 22, 2004 – The third annual Golf Demo Day, presented by PGA Golf Exhibitions and PGA Magazine, now has a waiting list of companies wishing to participate, a new Aserta Sports $2,500 putting contest and a new demonstration area specifically for PGA teaching professional clinics and company demonstrations.

The 2005 Golf Demo Day, Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature more than 60 companies filling over 120 hitting bays, two putting greens and a short game area at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge in Winter Garden, Fla. Golf Demo Day is staged in conjunction with the PGA Merchandise Show, Jan. 27-30, at the Orange County Convention Center.

The 42-acre practice facility offers a unique opportunity for some 4,000 invited PGA Professionals, key buyers and select media to test first-hand the equipment, products, and services of top golf manufacturers.

Aserta Sports has joined this year's Golf Demo Day as an official sponsor and is staging a $2,500 putting contest open to all Golf Demo Day attendees. Also, a new demonstration area with stadium seating will feature top PGA teaching professional clinics and demonstrations by several participating Golf Demo Day companies. PGA Members will receive four MSR hours for attending Golf Demo Day.

"The value of Golf Demo Day for both manufacturers and attendees continues to build each year," said PGA Golf Exhibitions Vice President and Show Manager Ed Several. "The outdoor demo format is a proven success and new programs like the Aserta Sports Putting Contest and the schedule of PGA Professional teaching clinics and company demonstrations will be a great addition to this year's event."

The 2005 Golf Demo Day is presented by PGA Magazine and PGA Golf Exhibitions and also is sponsored by Aldila, Aserta Sports, ProDerma and The Golf Channel. The Golf Channel will provide special coverage of Golf Demo Day as part of its new and extended 24 hours of live and taped PGA Merchandise Show programming.
