PeakVision Sports eyewear worn by winner of The Big Break VI

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.) - Briana Vega became an enthusiastic believer in PeakVision Sports eyewear en route to her victory in the ladies' competition of "The Big Break VI: Trump National," the latest installment of The Golf Channel's popular reality-based program.

Vega wore PEAKS from tee to green as she battled her way through the intense competition, even though wearing PeakVision Sports sunglasses was optional for all 18 Big Break VI contestants. In fact, Vega clinched the title while wearing PeakVision Sports' popular SD7 model for her final approach shot and birdie putt at Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles.

Vega (North Andover, Mass.) earned exemptions into both the 2007 SBS Open at Turtle Bay and the 2007 Longs Drugs Challenge on the LPGA Tour, and received waived entry fees for the 2007 Duramed FUTURES Tour season.

After winning the competition Vega confided, "I felt like my PEAKS were a secret weapon that I didn't even have to think about. Everything seemed much crisper, clearer and cleaner than when I didn't wear them. One thing is for sure, now I won't play golf without them."

"We congratulate Bri on her outstanding performance during the event, and are proud that she chose to wear our sunglasses throughout the high-stakes competition," says PeakVision Sports founder and CEO Paul Moore. "Her victory is further proof that PeakVision Sports eyewear is a vital piece of professional grade golf equipment which can enhance one's ability to perceive distances and read the subtlest of green contours while providing maximum eye protection."

Like their predecessors on "The Big Break V: Hawaii," the Big Break VI's cast of 18 contestants - nine male and nine female - enjoyed access to the full suite of PeakVision Sports' high-performance eyewear, including the recently introduced Special Edition models of the GR4 and CL1 frames. Both Big Break V finalists wore PEAKS while playing many shots on their way to the title match last season, including winner Ashley Prange.

Previously in 2006, PeakVision Sports introduced three white-hot models - SD7, DG9 and GR4 -- that have become rapidly adopted by recreational golfers and players on the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours. The company also launched the PEAKS Rx Program, allowing those with optical prescriptions to enjoy the benefits of PeakVision Sports eyewear in the SL8, SD7 and ST7 models.

PeakVision Sports sunglasses have proved highly popular among professional golfers. PGA Tour players Billy Andrade and Scott McCarron, Champions Tour mainstay Bruce Fleisher, golf "color" commentator David Feherty, and up-and-coming LPGA Tour players Moira Dunn, Mikaela Parmlid, Beth Bader, Jean Bartholomew, Becky Morgan and Heather Young are among those professional players who count PEAKS as an integral component in their golf equipment arsenal.

In addition to golfers performing at higher levels wearing PeakVision Sports sunglasses, they are also popular among skiers, professional baseball umpires and pilots where vision is critical to performance.

About PeakVision Sports

The first major lens innovation in sports sunglass technology in more than 40 years, PeakVision Sports high-performance eyewear represents a radical step forward in optical design and lens manufacturing. The vast majority of sunglasses since the 1960s have had single-filter, polycarbonate lenses incapable of properly managing the bright hues of the horizon and sky versus the dark hues of terrain and landscape.

A breakthrough in sunglass design, PeakVision Sports' innovative Dual-Zone lenses incorporate two filters into one lens, allowing golfers to clearly distinguish between the turf and the sky to create optimal visual acuity. The material used in PeakVision Sports lenses is liquid-cast and optically superior to the polycarbonate material used in most sunglass brands.

PeakVision's "See Better, Play Better" competitive advantage is enjoyed by golf professionals in every venue including the PGA TOUR, LPGA Tour, Champions Tour, Nationwide Tour, and the U.S. Pro Golf Tour. These highly competitive golfers and hundreds of caddies and weekend warriors have unequivocally embraced PeakVision Sports sunglasses as a valuable component in their equipment arsenal. Believing the eyes are the windows to the mind, renowned sports psychologist Dr. Bob Rotella has discovered significant psychological benefits of PeakVision's Dual-Zone, Zero-Distortion lens technology and recommends them to many professional athletes seeking his counsel.

PeakVision Sports is affecting a paradigm shift in which sunglasses are no longer viewed as a fashion accessory, but as an essential piece of equipment, no less important than a putter, driver or wedge.
