Nov. 22, 2004 – Chrissy Selwa has joined the Public Relations team at LHWH Advertising & Public Relations in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Prior to joining LHWH, Selwa was the Director of Sales & Marketing at the Hampton Inn Broadway in Myrtle Beach, S.C. While at the Hampton Inn Broadway, she was responsible for securing and maintaining top corporate accounts, organizing sales blitz promotions, and preparing for and assisting in-house groups. During her time at the Hampton Inn Broadway, the hotel received a national ranking of 37th in the nation.

Selwa also served as an intern for the Department of Public Safety in the Public Affairs office for the state of Mississippi where she participated in the handling of state emergencies during the September 11th attacks on the United States. Additionally, she assisted in the organization of public events, publication of a monthly newsletter and news releases.
As a native of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Selwa received a degree from Coastal Carolina University in Political Science in May 1999 and a Master of Science in Communication degree from Mississippi College in December 2002.
At LHWH, Selwa will be a Public Relations Associate working with media around the nation. Her other duties include assisting with media events, corporate image issues, and writing news releases and press kits.
