Golfer Sophie Sandolo’s tremendous success gains momentum in 2007 with the release of her new Sexy calendar.

Sophie is currently spending some time with family and friends after a year of great golfing accomplishments.

"The year 2006 was very satisfying, even if I still think that, with a bit more luck, it could have been even better. I must say that I’m very happy with the results in golf and in the fashion world. I always give everything I’ve got to achieve as much success as possible in any domain. Obviously, my marketing studies have helped mea lot in terms of image and publicity. I learned a great deal in the various competitions and, above all, I made progress on my objectives. My familiarity with communication and marketing helped me organize, plan, and evaluate my sports activities better and above all to improve in my work."

The words of this young champion, an Italian national living in Monaco, are evidence of her tremendous will to do her best in anything she puts her mind to - and the satisfaction she draws from that.

Born in Nice, France, to an Italian father and French mother, Sophie Sandolo, age 30, has now established herself as one of the best female golfers on the European circuit. Sophie went pro in 2000 after obtaining excellent amateur results in Italian and European competitions. She won several of her country’s championships and finished her amateur career by carrying off the European title, which she came within inches of claiming the previous year.

Besides golf, Sophie’s passions include dance, windsurfing, and biking. She loves the fashion world and never misses an occasion to prove it when stepping out on the town in the principality. She spends her free time tapping away on her computer to upgrade her website (www.sophiesandolo.it) and keep it to-the-minute current – which surely contributes to its great success, as the site draws 1000 to 1500 hits a day. She regularly receives emails or letters, which she takes care to respond to personally.

In 2006, Sophie asserted herself in Morocco at the Princess Lalla Meryem Cup, as well as in the United Arab Emirates during the Dubai Ladies’ Masters Challenge, doubling with French player Gladys Nocera. She also earned a number of prestigious positions over the course of2006.

Elegant and stylish pin-up images of the golfer have been admired the world over through the help of international media. She is often invited to appear on Italian television, including Channels 5 and 7. To boot, she’s been courted by other European TV outlets to appear in news and sports programs, and is regularly invited to add panache to major events, such as on Ile Maurice, where she will stay in one of the most beautiful hotels in the world, the Prince Maurice.

To help this along, she must stay on the forefront of her sport to promote it as best she can, even when faced with detractors who believe golf is still a sport for the rich, over-fifty market. She gives her all to this quest, convinced that her performances on the green, when combined with her young, sexy, and elegant image, will get people talking about women’s golf.
