Antigua Group renews support of Golf Retirement Plus

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The Antigua Group Inc., one of the country's leading designers and manufacturers of men's, women's and children's lifestyle apparel and sportswear, has renewed its presenting partnership in Golf Retirement Plus™ through 2010.

Antigua was the first apparel partner to join Golf Retirement Plus™ in 1998. Celebrating its 27th year of serving the apparel needs of golf, licensed sports, corporate and identity specialty retail markets, Antigua was also the first apparel company to advance to presenting partner status in Golf Retirement Plus™.

"Antigua has deep roots in the game of golf, and we are most pleased that it continues its support of PGA Professionals through its involvement in Golf Retirement Plus," said newly-elected PGA of America President Brian Whitcomb. "PGA Professionals have long recognized the quality of service that Antigua offers in this program, and we look forward to our continued relationship in the overall growth of Golf Retirement Plus™."

In addition, Antigua Group Inc., with headquarters in Peoria, Ariz., continues its support of PGA Professionals as a PGA of America licensee for both the PGA Championship and Ryder Cup.

Founded in 1997, Golf Retirement Plus™ is a supplemental retirement program for PGA Professionals and apprentices, GCSAA Superintendents and CMAA Club Managers, which allows them to make their own contributions or have their employers contribute to their Golf Retirement Plus™ account on their behalf. PGA Professionals may also earn personal incentives by participating in 48 Golf Retirement Plus™ Sponsor Programs.
