Boyne golf courses in Michigan earn awards, offer package deals

Hotel Renovations at Boyne Highlands Resort
The Main Lodge at Boyne Highlands has undergone renovations to a number of guest rooms including new carpet and fixtures, fresh paint, new drapes and decorative features. The rooms are popular amongst golfers with convenient access to the Main Dining Room's savory hot buffet breakfast, and the Slopeside Lounge's casual atmosphere.

Bay Harbor Golf Club and The Heather Earn Rankings from Golf Digest
Bay Harbor Golf Club designed by Arthur Hills and The Heather at Boyne Highlands Resort designed by Robert Trent Jones have both earned rankings in Golf Digest's America's 100 Greatest Public Courses and Best in State for top Michigan golf courses. Golf Digest's biennial review of course rankings appeared in the February 2013 issue. The magazine used over 1,100 members of its Course Ranking Panel to play and score courses based on seven criteria: shot values, resistance to scoring, design variety, memorability, aesthetics, conditioning and ambience.

Golfweek's Best Courses You Can Play Features Bay Harbor Golf Club and Hidden River Golf & Casting Club
Bay Harbor Golf Club and Hidden River Golf & Casting Club in Brutus have earned rankings in Golfweek's Best Courses You Can Play 2013. Bay Harbor Golf Club has consecutively been named to the list and this year comes in at the No. 12 spot, while Hidden River Golf & Casting Club is a newcomer to the list ranking No. 19 for the best courses in Michigan. Golfweek had more than 725 evaluators rate each public layout on the basis of 10 criteria, including routing, conditioning, variety and memorability of holes.
