The WGC events bring out the top-ranked players in the world, making them the most competitive fields outside of the majors. So, when five of the world's best finished in the top-25 with a SuperStroke grip, it confirmed that SuperStroke putter grip technology is considered industry elite.
Finishing T3 with a "Ryder Cup" Ultra Slim 1.0 was a 33-year old Spaniard, closing the event with a Sunday 69. The hot streak continues for the 2012 Wyndham Champion. In his last 5 events he has posted three top-10 finishes, his best a T2 at the Qatar Masters.
"Our grip technology continues to be validated by our TOUR success," said Dean Dingman, President of SuperStroke Golf. "To see so many players choose our product each week reminds us to stay innovative and continue to only bring out the absolute best in grip technology."
Of the five top-25's, two players finishing T12 used the new Flatso Mid putter grips. Both these players chose the Flatso for its pentagonal shape and larger flat front.
SuperStroke's non-taper technology allows players to have even grip pressure in both hands, causing them to be more relaxed throughout the stroke. This will, in turn, enhance the pendulum putting stroke and help square the putter face at impact.
The strong showing at Doral pushed SuperStroke player earnings to just under $9 million for the year.
SuperStroke grips now feature a new high-tech PU material with Cross Traction technology. The Cross Traction design will improve the feel and tackiness of the grip. Adding this to the patented non-taper technology further increases consistency and lowers scores for every level of golfer, even TOUR professionals. With over $50 million won on Tour, SuperStroke continues to be the #1 jumbo putter grips played on the PGA Tour.
