November 19, 2004, Myrtle Beach, S.C. — Golf & Tennis Pro Shop, Inc. (GTPS), the owner of the three Martin's Golf & Tennis stores along the Grand Strand, has announced that it plans to open a Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore on Bypass 17 on the southern end of the Grand Strand in 2006. GTPS is the PGA TOUR's exclusive PGA TOUR partner for off-course/off-airport golf retailing.

GTPS also announced that it will close the Martin's Surfside Beach store November 30, 2004. All employees of the Surfside Beach store will be transferred to either the Martin's Golf and Tennis Superstore at the Broadway at the Beach location in Myrtle Beach or to the North Myrtle Beach store.
