"We are excited to open our tee sheet a full two and a half months in advance of the peak season," says owner Ken Wang. "Over the past five years, Pound Ridge has emerged as a true destination golf course which fortunately requires an extended booking window. Our flexible rates are designed for today's busy golfer who is pressed for time, but also expects a world-class experience."

Off-peak rates of $150 before 2 p.m. and $100 after remain in effect seven days a week through April 28. All rounds (peak and off) include a golf cart or pull cart; Pound Ridge yardage book; bottled water; player's towel; and complimentary use of the driving range, chipping area and other practice facilities.

Five sets of tee boxes make it appealing to both novice and experienced players. The course also has three sets of tees rated for women, bearing the unmistakable touch of Alice Dye, Pete's wife and an accomplished amateur champion.

Since opening in 2008, Pound Ridge has earned world-class accolades from Golf Digest, GOLF Magazine, Golfweek, AskMen.com, Rolex and LINKS Magazine. It quickly emerged as a "destination golf course," sought out by serious golfers collecting the world's best golf experiences.

About Pound Ridge Golf Club
Opened in 2008, Pound Ridge Golf Club is the only course in New York designed by the legendary Pete Dye. Located in Westchester County, it is just under an hour north of New York City and less than 15 minutes from Stamford and Greenwich, Connecticut. Pound Ridge is the premier high-end, public course in the metropolitan New York area.

Crafted by Dye, his son Perry and long-time Dye construction manager/lead shaper Michael Langkau, Pound Ridge is a full bentgrass facility, hewn from 172 acres of magnificent cliffs, streams and wooded hills. Dramatic rock formations and boulders were left onsite, creating one of the most visually stunning settings for golf in the U.S. More than 14,000-linear-feet of rock wall frames the site's thick strands of hardwoods, wetlands and rolling terrain. Contoured fairways wind through forests, and fescue mounds lead to open meadows with picturesque green complexes.

Pound Ridge Golf Club plays to a par-72, has five sets of tees and measures 7,165 yards. It boasts a practice range, short game area and putting green. The property is home to many of the highest points in Westchester County, with a number of tee boxes offering expansive vistas of the surrounding countryside. Notable holes include the par-5, 13th - home to "Pete's Rock," a giant boulder that rests in the middle of the fairway - and the par-3 15th - dubbed "Headstone" -flanked on the right by a large rock outcropping that protrudes into the elongated, 9,000-square-foot green.
