TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- For the second year in a row, Malaysia put together the winning team to be crowned the 2012 International SNAG Cup champions. Organized by Kidz@Golf and played at the Desa Park City football field, the Malaysian Team "Transformers" shot an overall score of 120 in soggy and rainy conditions with parents and grandparents joining the kids for some fun golf action.
Tied for second place with a score of 123 was Team "Yang" from Rivermont Golf & Country Club in Johns Creek, Georgia and Team "Home on the Range 5" from the Range Golf Instruction and Practice Range in Newcastle, California.
Third place went to Team "GSCA" of Georgia with a score of 125.
This fun, family-focused cyber golf tournament designed for players of all ages drew participants from three virtual locations across the globe. All players were given training by a golf professional on the basics of golf using SNAG Golf programming and equipment.
