Hall of Fame golfer, Raymond Floyd, transformed the resort's two 18-hole golf courses, originally designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., into a pair of versatile, artfully contoured layouts. Nearly 700,000 cubic yards of fill was used to create elevation changes not often seen in South Florida. While the original routings were for the most part retained, lush tropical landscaping, coquina shell waste areas and strategically placed water features now highlight the Soffer Course (formerly the South Course); and the Miller Course (formerly the North Course). With one of the highest slope and course ratings in South Florida from the back tees, the Soffer Course is intended for championship play.
