Arizona's Mirabel golf community moves to reduce membership cap

To maintain the exclusivity and close-knit community atmosphere, members of Mirabel have voted to lower the total number of golf memberships from 350 to 275 and social memberships from 125 to 50. Property ownership within the community is not required for membership, but those interested should act quickly. Social Membership interest is so high, those looking to join may find themselves on a waiting list. Mirabel is also currently offering incentives for new golf memberships.

The award-winning, member-owned and controlled private club is quietly nestled in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, 3,000 feet above the Valley of the Sun. A Tom Fazio-designed course, Mirabel is one of the most honored private golf courses in Scottsdale and has been regularly recognized by Golfweek, GOLF Magazine and The Arizona Republic as among the best private golf clubs in the United States. Mirabel's recognitions include being ranked 15 on Golf Digest Magazine's Top Rated Golf Courses for Arizona and ranking 37th on Golfweek Magazine's America's Top 100 Residential Courses in 2005.

Member satisfaction is a priority at Mirabel and the club's satisfaction rate consistently measure at two times the national average. That satisfaction is evident with the limited number of Equity and Non-Equity Golf and Social Memberships available. Member benefits include access to the award-winning Tom Fazio golf course, championship-caliber Har-Tru clay tennis courts and comprehensive tennis programs, state-of-the-art fitness facilities and resort-style swimming pool with private cabanas. Members are also granted exclusive access to the Desert Lodge clubhouse. Consisting of approximately 34,000 square-feet, the clubhouse was build to complement its beautiful desert surroundings and suit an active lifestyle. The Desert Lodge boasts exceptional fine and casual dining, a resort-style spa, and various social activities.

"Mirabel members have made this club into something really special," said Michael Ryan, Mirabel General Manager. "The intimate community and privacy Mirabel offers makes this award-winning club feel like home."
