Miura Golf announces adding opt-in box on home page of website

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Canada -- To better connect with golfers all over the world, Miura Golf has included a new opt-in box on the home page of its website, www.MiuraGolf.com. Golfers can simply enter their name and email address, and they'll have the option to receive more information about Miura, including brief presentations about golf equipment, custom club fitting, and the Miura forged advantage.

Also, just by entering name and email, every person who joins has a chance to win a free Miura wedge in a monthly drawing.

"We find that once golfers know about Miura clubs, they want to try them -- and once they try them, they want to get custom-fitted and buy them," said Adam Barr, president of Miura Golf.

The knowledge gained about these golfers will allow Miura to more readily point them to Miura authorized dealers and fitters, who will be able to precisely fit them.

"The simple opt-in box is a good way to reach out to golfers, many of whom are using the Internet to educate themselves about golf equipment already. And it's a great chance for us to share equipment knowledge and details about Miura in presentations that are short, interesting and customizable."

Those who join using the Miura opt-in box can choose to fill out a brief, six-question survey about their games. Miura will then respond with customized emails (at appropriate intervals), conveying equipment knowledge that can lead to better play and more enjoyment.
