MONROE TOWNSHIP, N. J. -- Sundog Eyewear is proud to support Paula Creamer in her epic challenge against Gary McCord in the Battle of the Sexes Golf Match Oct. 6 & 7 at the Forsgate Country Club. And, Sundog is delighted with the opportunity to support The Forsgate Foundation.
The Forsgate Foundation, a non-profit organization has donated over $400,000 to worthwhile organizations since its inception in 2003. In support of the event and such a worthwhile cause, Sundog Eyewear is offering special pricing of $49.99 on Paula Creamer Collection and Sundog polycarbonate sunglasses. In partnership with the Forsgate CC Pro Shop, $20 from the sale of each pair of Sundogs at the special Battle of the Sexes price will go to The Forsgate Foundation.
"It's great that Sundog Eyewear is supporting such a wonderful cause," said Creamer, aka The Pink Panther, who has played a big role in designing her Paula Creamer Collection since 2006. "The real winner in this Battle is The Forsgate Foundation and the charities, but I still want to beat that CBS broadcaster - I didn't even know he plays golf."
The jibes and laughs will keep coming as consummate raconteur McCord and Creamer will be on the course with the Irish wit hisownself, David Feherty.
"It's going to be a lot more amusing, and more fun, than that Battle almost 40 years ago between Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King," said Carolyn McKenzie Andrews, director of golf at the Forsgate Country Club. "And thanks to the involvement of sponsors like Sundog Eyewear, we can raise money for very worthwhile children's charities."
Tour Proven, Sundog Eyewear Mela-Lens™ are the sunglasses of choice, on and off the course, of 2010 LPGA US Open Champion Creamer, 2010 Open Champion and 2012 Africa Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen, 2011 BMW International Champion Pablo Larrazábal, and 2003 Masters Champion Mike Weir.
