Softspikes captures victory at Tour's Chiquita Classic

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- Softspikes, the world's best-selling golf cleat brand and maker of the #1 Cleat in Golf, kept it's winning streak alive this weekend with the winner of the Tour's Chiquita Classic sporting Cyclone Ice. For his second win on the tour, the winner parred the first hole to secure the playoff victory. Alongside the winner, 28 of the top 30 finishers also put their trust in Softspikes/ PrideSports, crushing the competition.

For the third week in a row, Softspikes' Cyclone Ice claimed the top spot on the leaderboard as well. The new 'Ice' version of Softspikes' original black and gold Cyclone cleat features six clear flexible legs which provide exceptional grip and unmatched traction.

"Cyclone Ice is quickly becoming the Tour player's cleat of choice." said John Hohman, Vice President of Marketing, PrideSports. "We've updated the immensely successful Cyclone cleat model and are excited to see that others share our excitement and belief that this cleat can change your golf game."

Softspikes' patented Dynamic Cleat Technology allows its cleats to be responsive to all terrains - Tee Boxes, Fairways, Roughs, Greens, etc - providing confidence on every swing of the club. In other words, longer drives, better iron shots and lower scores. For more information on Softspikes, please visit
