BLUFFTON, S.C. -- Hilton Head National opened its doors officially in November of 1989 and has gained a reputation as being one of the best public-access golf courses in the region as noted by Links Magazine in April 2011 as being one of the "Top Ten Golf Courses in the Low Country."
Now, you can play Hilton Head National and neighboring Old South Golf Links at a special package rate.
Hilton Head National Golf Club is considered one of the best public courses in the region. In an area where there is no shortage of golf courses, this one stands out for its challenging design filled with risk-reward opportunities. Gary Player and Bobby Weed collaborated on the design, each incorporated their own signature touches. Weed designed the front nine, featuring greens that are slightly larger than Player's but they feature more dramatic undulations.
At Old South Golf Links, designer Clyde Johnston put together a course that lives up to its name -- it is a pure Southern golf experience. The course plays just over 6,700 yards and pleasantly wide fairways will help keep your ball in play.
Dates: Good throughout 2012.
