Andy Thuney past President of the Southern California PGA and Tournament Chairman, invites you and your club to organize a team consisting of ONE Club Golf Professional and four amateur members to compete in this years' Diamond's International Los Cabos Pro Am - October 24-28, 2012.
This year will be the 15th annual golf tournament event that BEST4GOLF has organized and hosted at Club Professional Pro Am in Mexico. We are proud to have played an important role in this tradition.
Three rounds of championship golf has been schedule for the Diamond's International Los Cabos October 24-28, 2012.
Our first round is at the veteran Cabo Real Golf Club, a beautiful design by Robert Trent Jones, with three seaside holes. Elevation changes and vistas make this course one of the favorites in Los Cabos, also a Senior Slam site in 1999 won by Hale Irwin. Jack Nicklaus' first Signature Golf course in Latin America Palmilla, will host our second round on their Mountain and Arroyo nines. Site of the 1997 Senior Slam with Lee Trevino who called the 5th hole on the Arroyo his favorite hole ever played. Club Campestre San Jose is a Nicklaus course voted BEST's new Resort Golf course in 2008. Excellent conditioning and well maintained from tee to green this is a course to write home about.
Our tournament uses a Stableford format with handicaps which makes for a most interesting and fair event. Points for pars, birdie and eagles makes for strategic golf on hole three of the players scores are counted… so an errant shot doesn't ruin your round…a new lease on life. Diamonds International Prizes for teams, CASH Purse for PGA Golf Professional on both the team score and their individual efforts are all part of the festivities.
Choices of two all inclusive resorts, the five star Dreams Los Cabos and the deluxe Melia Cabo Real will be our headquarter hotels throughout the week. If you have your own accommodations no problem; Pay only the registration fee and take part in the great functions planned each day.
