Broadcast Notes:

- Major Champions Simpson, Watson and Bradley Featured Grouping – U.S. Open champion Webb Simpson will be joined by Masters champion Bubba Watson and the 2011 PGA Champion Keegan Bradley (12:55 p.m. ET tee time) as the featured grouping during Golf Channel’s opening round on Thursday. Also featured during Thursday’s opening round of coverage will be defending champion Frederick Jacobson, Zach Johnson and Kyle Stanley (12:44 p.m. ET tee time).
- Patrick Cantlay to Make Professional Debut – Patrick Cantlay, the world’s top-ranked amateur, will make his professional debut at the Travelers Championship. In 2011, he carded a 10-under-par 60 in the second round, the lowest score by an amateur ever at a PGA TOUR event (8:29 a.m. ET tee time Thursday / 1:39 p.m. ET tee time Friday).
- Four Rounds of Live Tournament Coverage – Golf Channel will air four rounds of live tournament coverage of the Travelers Championship, including 90 minutes of tournament action Saturday and Sunday leading into CBS Sports’ live coverage.
- On-site wraparound news coverage – Golf Central and Golf Central Pre Game will broadcast live and on-site from a dedicated studio Thursday-Sunday. Mike Ritz, Tripp Isenhour, Todd Lewis and Jason Sobel will report for Golf Central at TPC River Highlands throughout the week.
- Aimpoint presented by Fidelity featured – Aimpoint presented by Fidelity, Golf Channel’s Emmy Award-winning graphics technology that predicts the line of the putt and where players must aim to hole out, will be featured this week on select holes at TPC River Highlands.
- Headlining the field – Webb Simpson, Keegan Bradley, Bubba Watson, Patrick Cantlay, Ian Poulter, Charl Schwartzel, Louis Oosthuizen, Padraig Harrington, Hunter Mahan, Zach Johnson, Vijay Singh, Kenny Perry, Y.E. Yang, Bud Cauley, Harris English, Rory Sabbatini and Rocco Mediate.

- Karin Sjodin Mic’d Up – LPGA Tour Professional Karin Sjodin will be fitted with a microphone during Thursday’s opening round of play at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic. Viewers will be able to eavesdrop on conversations between Sjodin and her caddie throughout the round.
- Mo Martin Rookie Spotlight – LPGA Tour rookie Mo Martin will be Golf Channel’s rookie spotlight player during Friday’s live tournament coverage.
- Featured Groupings: Featured groupings during Golf Channel’s opening round of coverage on Thursday include: Shanshan Feng/Karin Sjodin/Michelle Wie (9:05 a.m. ET tee time) and Azahara Munoz/Suzann Pettersen/Karrie Webb (9:16 a.m. ET).
- Mike Crispino to Make Golf Channel On-Air Debut – Mike Crispino will make his Golf Channel on-air debut this week at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic as play-by-play host. Crispino also will host the LPGA’s Wal-Mart NW Arkansas Championship, the True South Classic and the Legends Reno-Tahoe Open on the PGA TOUR and the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open on the Champions Tour.
- Walk and Talks Featured – Golf Channel on-course reporters Jerry Foltz and Jane Crafter will interview players as they are walking the fairways during all four rounds of tournament coverage.
